GMAT Test Preparation
The GMAT is necessary for admission to a business school which considers GMAT scores as a measure for admission. GMAT is only accessible as a Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) that adapts to your performance as you sit for it. It is a multiple choice exam, which just about all known business schools use as an admission process for their graduate programs.
The GMAT covers three main segments:
1. Analytical Writing Assessment
AWA is created as direct measure of the applicant’s aptitude to think seriously and contribute ideas. The AWA consists of two writing tasks –analysis of an issue and analysis of an argument.
2. Quantitative Reasoning
Problem solving and data sufficiency questions are assorted throughout the section. Both these types of questions require knowledge of arithmetic, elementary algebra and commonly known concepts and geometry.
3. Verbal Section
This section of the GMAT test measures the applicant’s ability in reading and comprehending written material, reasoning and evaluating arguments and correcting written materials to comply with standard written English.
